About this site's lack of design: Yes, it's supposed to look this way — I'm helping create a new sandbox theme for WordPress (see it on GitHub).

Technical Difficulties

It’s clear now that quite a few folks are having problems downloading the Sinelogic Budget Design PDF — all indications point to a problem with the script that handles the confirmation emails, which include a link to the file that is active for 24 hours after the user registers. The problem is that some users are having no problem with the link, while others are seeing an error that their download time has expired (when the 24 hour mark is still many hours away).

As I already noted in the comments of the previous post, I’ll be working on the problem tonight (having been away for more days than I had expected, and all without any ‘net access for more than 5 minutes at a time a few times a day, there’s a lot to catch up on today). If I can resolve it quickly, we’ll simply extend the download period so everyone has a reasonable amount of time to get a copy; if no resolution reveals itself, I’ll replace the registration process with a direct download link for the time being, until we have a chance to work out the (inconsistent) bugs.

Thankfully, we’ve received overwhelmingly positive reviews from everyone who has been able to download the PDF, which is very encouraging. Please continue to send us your comments, either via the form on the Sinelogic homepage, or just add them to the comments on the original post.
