Should I Redesign?

OK, if there’s any­one out there who actu­ally reads this site, please let me know your thoughts on redesign­ing this site.

First, I’d like to know if you think the site needs a redesign. If you do, com­ment on what you would like to see in the design (usabil­ity fea­tures, lay­out, col­ors, etc.)

I promise I will review every sin­gle item of feed­back, and since this site is mostly for you, the reader, I will be weigh­ing your input more heav­ily than my own this time around.

    Two com­ments…

    First, I love your website’s cur­rent design. I read about 10 to 15 blog sites reg­u­larly (This being one of them), and of all the blog sites I read, this is my favourite design.

    That being said, I’m quite inter­ested to see what other nice design ideas you’ve got up your sleeve, if you decide to do a redesign on your site.

    So although I love the cur­rent design, and don’t really see any need for you to change it, I’d also love to see what you do with the site if you decide to redesign it.

    Hi Mike, thanks for your thoughts!

    I suf­fer (some­what unfor­tu­nately) from an inabil­ity to leave well enough alone, so I always have new ideas (I spend a ton of time in Pho­to­shop doing comps, most of which never see the light of day :-(

    I’ve been very happy with this design, which is the rea­son it hasn’t changed since it was launched. This was about the 5th design I comped before I was happy enough to com­mit to fig­ur­ing out the code.

    There are a num­ber of web sites I respect (Zeld­man, DiveIn­toMark, StopDe­sign) which have been recently redesigned, and I’ve just picked up the bug I suppose…

    Thanks again for throw­ing in your two-cents :-)

    I like the design, It is sub­tle and clean. The col­ors play well together, the logo sup­ports the con­tent. Don’t see too many blogs that actu­ally feel “branded”. Nice job.
